Our trip to Yankee Island there was an elephant seal with a commerant on its back and it was the most beautiful natural, wildlife scenario to behold! I took a photo and entered it in to the photo contest!!!

Yes--we did slow, intimate ones and then zoomed to places where we walked and photographed--amazing balance. All drivers were fantastic

Wow hard to say. Top three.... Mal was tough about which boots we had and I wish I knew more before I went-but was passionate and knowledgeable and one of my favorites for evening chats about Nepal and Antarctica. Brought me on my favorite hike up Petermann Island. Alexis was engaging, funny and a real source of info about Argentinian culture. Brought me on one of best excursions including kayaking in chopping waters with a leopard seal somewhere in the waters--very exciting!!! Ian-earnest and so experienced with his winter on Antarctica--I would loved that he took the time to share is adventures with a great presentation.

Such a nimble boat. It looked like a silly little boat at the dock but as we got out on the seas (and passed the crazy Drake Passage) I feel in love with the layout-flexibly of where we could go- the dining room--our room which was just next to the bridge. Food was wonderful--and Noelle and the chef and the staff were so amazing!!!!

You guys set me up with the amazon guide, Barbara--she took me to Tierra del Fuego--a perfect morning!!!
Victor who took care of our room was AWESOME. Dorett with the photography workshops was INSPIRING.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Layers--an outer shell is important but the layers below should be dewicking. Good wind pants. If you want to do real hiking bring serious, inflexible hiking shoes. It allows you to sign up for more types of events. Take tons of pics-you wont regret it. In the case of video--even if you have not done it yet--you should start here! Dragon was hilarious--I didn't get to say that earlier!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Wish I could leave right away for the north pole--but the virus has kept me in USA!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
When you submit your photos for the contest--there is a link that says your photo has posted but no acknowledgment that it is being considered for the competition and when we will know...and where they are posted etc....
