Why we like the Sea Spirit

  • All-suite ship with the smallest cabins measuring a cavernous 215 square feet (20 sq. m) in comparison to most other Antarctic cabins
  • Just 114 passengers aboard helps maximise your time exploring off the ship
  • Voyage price includes a night's stay pre-embarkation in a 5* Ushuaia hotel, an Expedition Jacket to keep and the loan of rubber boots
  • Wide choice of cabin categories including 15 suites with exterior balconies
  • Interior elevator to all cabin decks
  • Good value for the comfort level and cabin space

Important: All departures are multi-lingual, typically conducted in both German and English, while some may also have Russian and Chinese spoken.

Great crew/staff, outstanding service on all levels, personal attention, lovely cabin kept absolutely spotless. The only negatives were the food and the entertainment - given the stellar level of all other staff, this aspect was underwhelming. I would choose this ship again. Read the full review

The Sea Spirit is a wonderful ship. Our cabin on Deck 5 was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to get around on the boat and we took advantage of the comfortable and extensive library quite often on sailing days. The food was excellent as there was always a wide variety of offerings for each meal and an amazing range of options throughout the whole trip. Read the full review

Really enjoyed the small ship atmosphere. The cabin was older, but clean and taken care of. All the food was tremendous with good variety. Why don't we have Afternoon Tea here in the States?! Read the full review

Highlights were aplenty: spending time in Ushuaia the southern most city in the world; living a comfortable life in the ship with good passengers for company; and the best possible expedition team; witnessing orcas and dolphins straight from the cabin window; crossing the Polar Circle, polar plunging; encounters with humpback whales swimming close to the Zodiac; sitting ashore and absorbing the calm and vastness of the peninsula on a bright sunny day.

Sea Spirit - what a plucky little ship! She carried us in comfortable luxury whilst still being small enough to provide an intimate experience. Both the crew and expedition teams worked tirelessly to ensure we had the time of our lives.

The Sea Spirit is a beautiful ship and feels very luxurious. The ship and hotel staff were attentive and friendly and as for the food, well it was simply divine! The expedition crew were super friendly, incredibly talented, knowledgeable and inspiring. Our fellow passengers were diverse and we’ve made lots of new friends who we will forever share a special bond with.

I love the Sea Spirit's wrap-around deck. It's brilliant to be able to jump outside instantly, especially if you're relaxing in the Club Bar after a busy day but suddenly spot a spectacular iceberg or whale blow.
