45-50 Humpback whales surrounding us for about 2 hours! The Drake Shake with 84 knot wind gusts! Lemaire Channel with brash ice and growlers. Camping in Paradise. Sailing into Deception Island (Neptune's Bellows) at 5 am in broad daylight. Seeing 3 types of seals and 3 types of adorable penguins. Adventureous, friendly, inquisitive people-and staff.

Hard to choose just one! Penguins swimming underwater in mass. A huge, unusually large pod of Orca feeding. The magnificent mountain peaks and sunlit valleys beneath them, and on and on. Truly something I will remember every day of my life!

The daily expeditions were well run, adventurous, and led by amazingly insightful, patient, and FUN expedition staff. There was no one moment that was great, they were all great.

I describe this adventure as going to the moon and back. Of course, a trip like this is very weather dependent - but our weather could not have been any more perfect! Our expedition leader, Sarah, was determined to get us off the ship as much as possible. She only wanted to share her knowledge and the beauty around us. Her enthusiasm was infectious. We had 17 landings and 2 cancelled landings, of which one was substituted for a zodiac excursion so we didn't miss the penguin colony. So you ask what was my most memorable moment - every day, every longing, every guide, every lecture was memorable. This was an other worldly experience.

Loved Drake's passage, Gale force winds and it was the best rollercoaster ride for 2 days. The whole trip was amazing.

Completing the trip. We’ve been postponed since March of 2020 and were rescheduled 5 times. It was amazing. Perfect weather every day of the trip. Worth it.
