The shapes of the icebergs - and the colors! The way the penguins porpoise in groups. The way I didn't realize for a long time that the sun hadn't set. The long walks up and around. Definitely the polar plunge. And yes, the people. How cool is it to get a bunch of adventurers on a boat together?!
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
I thought I was going to check off a box - 7th continent in a year - but being in Antarctica was so much more than checking a box; it was beautiful, raw, untouched, cute, and completely indescribable.
