Overall, how was your trip?

The highlight was breaking through the iced up Lemaire channel. Scenery was amazing and wildlife interesting if limited in species. A pleasant interesting bunch of tourists from several countries all of whom were keen to get out, see things and learn. We’ll show them photos of the animals, birds, icebergs, sea conditions, the ship and the journey there. No surprises.

In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?

Yes, we really enjoyed the trip. We did find the time spent on board rather long and might have preferred being allowed to explore further on the peninsular landings, though we realise that there are restrictions.

Would you visit again?

No

How was the service that Swoop provided?

1. Yes 2. The ship's operator were brilliant in all respects- the staff, catering, excursions etc all very carefully organised and very safety conscious. 3. It was the right ship and we liked the cabin. However, the situation of the cabin on the top and to the front of the ship was not ideal travelling across the Drake. We might have been interested in the smaller ship which the operator runs but weren't aware of it. 4. Swoop organised everything and kept us informed about the progress of our booking very well. 5. Can’t think of anything
