We watched a pod of orcas hunting two penguins in the Gerlache Strait for ten to fifteen minutes. We have long been on the hunt for orcas, and have never seen anything more than a distant dorsal fin. It was an incredible spectacle to watch.

Touching down on the main continent. I had only dreamed we'd maybe get to touch down perhaps once, but the incredible expedition team and crew were able to get us down 3 times! I was blown away, and was very impressed and pleased by how the teams worked hard to make that dream happen.

Too many so called 'moments' ... zodiac cruising alongside the Drygalski Glacier in the mist and encountering a 'Mary Celeste' lookalike (Heritage A) sitting in the mist was a 'moment' ... but the quality of and frequency of presenters and expedition staff willing to share knowledge and enhance the experience was/is so memorable.
