Puerto Madryn

Puerto Madryn is a city, situated on the sandy coast of Argentina. Although the coast offers beautiful sand beaches, do not expect warm weather. The town was founded by Welsh immigrants in 1865. It is a gateway to northern Patagonia and a starting location of select Antarctic expeditions. Some additional highlights include a Penguin rookery on the beach.
