Overall, how was your trip?
The expedition crew was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. They were obviously enjoying the trip and landscapes and wildlife as much as we were. The other passengers were also friendly and personable. 100 (+/- 10) passengers made it possible to meet almost everyone. The aft deck on the Herculean Sky was a bonus....a great place outdoors to have lunch and watch birds ans WHALES (100s of them). The sheer size of the penguin rookeries was breathtaking.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
It was spectacular. Everything was perfect.
Would you visit again?
How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop and Loli were the best...one of the top 2 agencies and agents we have worked with. Have already recommended swoop to other friends. (Can't answer the next question on my phone. My #10 selection doesn't click.)
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?
10 out of 10
You chose a/an South Georgia, Antarctica and Falklands Luxury Explorer experience. How was that experience?
The ship was beautiful, the room perfect size and the steward a pro. The recommendation to choose this ship (100 passengers only and the spectacular aft deck) was absolutley right for us. Getting to visit the Bridge at almost any time was a highlight .
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
No suggestions. Everything was terrific....even the New Year's Eve party at the hotel.
How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
See previous answers. Everything and everyone was yerrific.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Go on a small ship. Try to get on the Herculean Sky for the aft deck. Don't worry about the Drake's passage. Everything else will make the time in the passage seem unimportant.
