Tell us about the wildlife

Yes we saw Plenty of birds and a number of whales all types of seals and millions of penguins not hard to get a good photo with vasic equipment.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions

Zodiac excursions were well organised and professionally run. The daily sights were well chosen by an expert and knowledgeable team leader.

Tell us about the expedition team

All the team had expert subjects and many years of Antarctic experience.

Tell us about the Hebridean Sky

Excellent ship very comfortable cabins and a smiling and helpful crew. Food was superb.

Something Else?

The ship’s operator came with an abundance of sea sick pills for those who had not cated for the Drake Passage which was not too rough but is the first taste of sailing on an ocean.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?

We found d it was not needed to take walking poles with you as they were supplied by the ship’s operators.

Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?

No

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?

I have told the team that name tags would have been better than the lanyard we were given wth our names. You could not see the person's name and most people ceased wearing them on the second day.
