What was your most memorable moment?
Too hard to choose a most memorable moment. So many once in a life-time moments. I loved the wildlife encounters. Tens of thousands of penguins on the beach. Interactions of penguins and fur seal pups. Amazing to watch a leopard seal hunt and catch a penguin. Who knew that icebergs could be so amazing and fascinating.

Tell us about the wildlife
We saw seven different penguin species up close and personal. Five different seal species with amazing encounters with the apex predator "Leopard Seal". Watching a leopard seal hunt and catch a penguin was nature at its rawest and finest. We saw the complete circle of life from fur seal pups to the demise of a poor gentoo penguin. There were times when the water was boiling with fur seal pups frolicking in the waves. We were only 15 meters away while all these experiences unfolded before our eyes. Countless sea birds were seen everywhere. If you love wildlife or you want to check off more birds on your list, this is a must trip. All three locations provided different wildlife experiences. If you go to the Antarctic, you must go to South Georgia and Faulkland islands.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Loved the zodiac excursions. The zodiacs provide intimate access to locations the ship cannot reach. Zodiacs and shore excursions make all the difference in an Antarctic journey. I couldn't imagine simply viewing just from the ship.
Tell us about the expedition team
Great expedition team with tons of experience and knowledge of Antarctica. Jamie the expedition leader just made everything happen. The team really delivered. Who could ever forget a lecture entitled "Krill With Phil". Gerard's vast knowledge and experience was awesome.
Tell us about the Ocean Victory
From the captain down, the people who run the ship and provide the hotel services are wonderful and caring. Our favorite server was Josephine. She served our meals with kindness, care, and grace that went far beyond service that is expected from a first class ship.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't just do Antarctica. You must include South Georgia and Faulkland islands.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I simply need to be better in my consumption of products and use of plastic.
