Akademik IoffeOverall, how was your trip?
The highlight was being able to experience wildlife up close (i.e. a humpback whale under our zodiac), as well as the amazing staff on the ship. There was a fair mix of younger and older people on my expedition, from 18-90! I was surprised by the massive scale of the continent.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
It was incredible and exceeded all of my expectations!

Yes, I am very pleased with Swoop! Loli Figueroa was so incredibly helpful and interested in making sure I had a comfortable experience. The information given about the size of the ship was so important and very helpful!

How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
Seeing the whales and seals up close was amazing. Landings with hiking options to a vantage point were the best. Expedition staff were always available to answer questions about wildlife and Antarctica in general!
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to Antarctica, and what tips would you pass on?
Any adult - young or old - should go on this expedition! The ship's operator had a caring and accommodating staff that took the time to get to know the guests. They offered a huge range of activities and the boat's smaller size made it like a giant family for the trip.
You chose a/an {area.title} voyage. How was that experience?
Camping was amazing! Cold, but so worth it. Definitely a highlight, and recommend it to anyone.
