It was so much more than expected. Mountaineering was so satisfying, and kayaking was just so much fun.

How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
Leaving the Plancius was like leaving the mothership to a foreign land. Watching the Plancius growing smaller and smaller is an unforgettable feeling.

Sitting on top of a glacier, watching the tiny Plancius down in the bay, having strong gust of wind blurring your vision with snow, was surreal.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Bring a good camera. Pray for good weather. Be extra prepared for the drake passage.
