The most memorable moment was kayaking at Charlotte Bay and being surrounded all around by 20+ humpback whales! Truly incredible!

The majority of the trip was a memorable moment, but the giant, steaming pile of male elephant seals was incredible! Got some great video of them "talking" to each other. Also got some great video of a close-up humpback whale slapping his fins back and forth.

This is so difficult because there were so many memorable moments. I think the one that will stick with me for the rest of my life, and the one that had me feeling the most emotions, was the sunset near Liard Island. We had just crossed the Antarctic Circle and the captain held us stationary as we watched the sunset. The sounds of whales were all around us and the light was perfect. I’m a sucker for sunsets and this one brought tears to my eyes. I will never forget this moment!

Very difficult to choose. Probably the first Zodiac excursion but the night there were around 25 humpbacks feeding all around the ship flipping flukes and lunging was spectacular.

A very spiritual moment standing alone amongst thousands of penguins, seals, and nesting birds as I realized that because of man's efforts the many travesties of the past devastation are being (at least to some degree) reversed. We can make a difference, and this incredible world is worth it!

Too hard to choose a most memorable moment. So many once in a life-time moments. I loved the wildlife encounters. Tens of thousands of penguins on the beach. Interactions of penguins and fur seal pups. Amazing to watch a leopard seal hunt and catch a penguin. Who knew that icebergs could be so amazing and fascinating.

Impossible to pick one moment. Our first day had bright sunny, clear skies and it was incredible just to look around and take it all in.

So difficult to pick one - but the exquisite beauty of the landscape- especially at sunrise & sunset. I knew I would love the wildlife but was surprised at how breath-takingly beautiful the scenery would be.

The highlight was probably seeing humpback whales breaching the water. The landscapes and wildlife were fantastic and we were able to get very close to whales, penguins, seals and sea birds. There were many interesting people on board and the academic staff from the ship's operator were really knowledgeable. The food on board was good and plentiful. I would probably have liked to do some more challenging hikes but I appreciate that is difficult with some of the passengers on board. I wouldn't go back because it's just so far to travel and always had it in my mind that it was a once in a lifetime trip. I would consider and Arctic trip.

Wow - I honestly can't limit it to one - some of the most memorable include: paddling/kayaking in total silence through sea ice with HUGE incredibly beautiful sculpted icebergs, soaring mountains, brilliant blue sky - just feeling totally in awe; standing at the bow of the ship which is stopped to marvel at the dozens of Fin whales swimming around us - and seeing a huge one just below me in the water - again, I am awestruck; standing on my 7th continent; crossing the polar circle; doing the polar plunge; and celebrating my 76th birthday in Antarctica!
