Choose one? We spent an incredible afternoon on the zodiacs following whales in the Gerlache Strait - what an incredible experience. We were fortunate enough to have several groups of whales in the area, with one whale breaching within 20 yards from our zodiac.

Too hard to choose a most memorable moment. So many once in a life-time moments. I loved the wildlife encounters. Tens of thousands of penguins on the beach. Interactions of penguins and fur seal pups. Amazing to watch a leopard seal hunt and catch a penguin. Who knew that icebergs could be so amazing and fascinating.

Too many to list really. However, one of my aims was to walk with King Penguins and to see them in huge crowds. I did this. And to see King Penguins on the same ground as sheep was just extroadinary. I come from North Yorkshire where sheep on peat are common but I could never have imagined them with penguins. That moment in the Falklands is indeed memorable.

Cruising below the Antarctic circle near Crystal Sound (can't remember the exact location) and witnessing the otherworldly site of a sea or bergy bits, growlers and icebergs tightly packed together as far as the eye can see. Like a broken-up ice shelf with pieces so close it looked like you could hop from one to another for miles.

It's hard to choose from so many; every day I thought was the best ever but I think I will say that the zodiac across Paradise Bay with the whales right in front of us or the cruise through Spert Islands channels and the iceberg graveyard with it all set off by the amazingly blue water. Also getting to 68 degrees south was incredible!
