Arriving on the Antarctic Peninsula was a breathtaking moment that will stay with me forever. Standing there, you instantly feel incredibly small against the immense grandeur of nature—the towering icebergs, endless glaciers, and vast icy landscapes humble you, reminding us just how tiny we are on this planet. The beauty is magical and exceptional; every day brought jaw-dropping views that stirred deep emotions, leaving me in awe of its pristine wilderness. Antarctica made me acutely aware of our planet's ancient transformations over time and the urgent need to protect it—especially this extraordinary place, before it's too late.

The landing with thousands of penguins. it was just like pictures i:d seen. The degree of wildlife, seals and whales.

Going further south in the Weddell Sea than the ship had ever sailed before, then walking across the ice to the Emperor Penguin colony...We were the called back to the ship as the ice started to shift and the ship was surrounded. It was only after a few hours of careful manoeuvring that we were free and heading north again. The expedition team and the captain were absolute heroes.

Our Antarctica trip was absolutely fantastic. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always attentive—and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Each day on the island was packed with engaging and well-organized activities, so there was never a dull moment. We were especially impressed with how well our 8-year-old was cared for; the team made him feel safe, included, and excited throughout the trip. It was a truly memorable experience, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The entire trip was exceptionally organized with great suggestions from Swoop on the details. All of the staff was polite, very helpful and quick to respond. I highly recommend Swoop if you’re envisioning a fun, highly organized expedition with timely suggestions on what to do and how to do them.

Icebergs everywhere. I’ve seen lots of icebergs before in Newfoundland but no where near the quantity.
