One morning in particular stands out. It was a cooler morning zodiac cruise expedition, where I got to observe juvenile penguins get the zoomies around and on and off an iceberg. For the full circle of life experience, I also got to witness a leopard seal hunting a penguin. Once back on the boat I hopped into the hot tub to warm up, shortly after I got into the hot tub I saw a humpback whale breach a little ways off the boat. It was a surreal morning.

The most memorable moment was kayaking at Charlotte Bay and being surrounded all around by 20+ humpback whales! Truly incredible!

Arriving on the Antarctic Peninsula was a breathtaking moment that will stay with me forever. Standing there, you instantly feel incredibly small against the immense grandeur of nature—the towering icebergs, endless glaciers, and vast icy landscapes humble you, reminding us just how tiny we are on this planet. The beauty is magical and exceptional; every day brought jaw-dropping views that stirred deep emotions, leaving me in awe of its pristine wilderness. Antarctica made me acutely aware of our planet's ancient transformations over time and the urgent need to protect it—especially this extraordinary place, before it's too late.

The zodiac cruise at Charlotte Bay where 3 humped back whales played around the zodiacs for ages. They were close and frequently blowing, waving with their fins and going belly up around and under the zodiacs before emerging to say hello. Whilst all this was going on the sky changed from cloudy to very blue, absolutely stunning.

On the island of West Point, standing on top of a bluff, at the encouragement of my cousin, and looking straight into the eyes of a young Albatross practicing his flying skills by flapping his large beautiful wings non-stop. The albatross were co-existing with two different species of penguins there as well. I was enchanted beyond belief realizing that my presence did not disturb these wild creatures in any way. They just carried on with their business and seemed quite accepting of we humans around them. It was a pivotal moment for me.

I had such high expectations and every one was exceeded. The passion, skill and knowledge of the expedition team, led impeccably by Marty was exceptional! The people we met on board made the experience and memories so much more memorable. And the wildlife and spectacular landscape and waterways were breathtaking.
