Hearing and then seeing a glacier break off from the zodiac we were in near shore and then leaving with the boat driver immediately so as not to be caught up in a swell.

It was amazing. The wildlife was endless and the highlight was probably seeing 30 whales bubble feeding right in front of our zodiacs. The staff were brilliant - so helpful, informative and nice. Met some wonderful people who we will keep in touch with! Loved the whole thing. The only shame was the cyclone which stopped us going down the Weddell sea which I had been so excited about - a real disappointment but staff did all they could to make the time on the ship great.

4 whales were feeding right around our kayaks. The weather was sunny and the scenery was beyond beautiful. I literally cried it was so amazing.

Above and Beyond of our expectations ! the expedition team, the entire crew... For us defenitely the best part was being able to snokrle more than 7 times and actually swimming with the Penguins . oh and also a really Close encounter while we here at the zodiacs with an amazing whale that decided to han with us for a couple of minutes ....

I don't know how to summarize what was the most magical adventure that I have ever experienced. The Hebridean Sky was a gem of a ship, and I felt like royalty. The service on the ship, the extensive knowledge of the crew, expedition leaders and scientists were were superb. We were incredibly blessed with 2 full days of glorious sunshine and unprecedented weather conditions which allowed us more landings than most of the cruises usually get to do. The landscapes and wildlife were spectacular. I met new lifelong friends that I will travel with again in the future. Favorite moment- Finding a chunk of 30,000 year old "Black Ice" and getting to taste it, and later on, it was the ice used in our cocktails!

Climbing the hill at the first landing on the Antarctic peninsula and turning around and seeing the ship sitting in the bay and understanding the time and effort required just to get there. It was so alien, it felt like I was standing on the moon.

There were many! My most memorable would be kayaking and having a whale surface about 500 feet from us, and then dive back down with a whale tail in the air.

There was not just one memorable moment. Is absolutely incredible. Seeing all the penguins seals and whales. The icebergs, especially in wilmina bay Made me feel like I was in the movie avatar the way of water. It was all totally amazing!

We were amazed by the beauty of its nature. The steep hill with their snow and glaciers. The icebergs were so huge and colorful. The gentoo penguins were the only breed we saw, but they were cute for a few days. We sat with different people at every meal and met some really interesting people. The ship was a good size for this trip. I would not want to go any larger since we would have not been able to make landings at some of the places we did. The ship's operator provided a very nice experience, with the only downside being that some of their lecturers were not well prepared.
