Wow - so hard to select just one! I would say the day we were on the Zodiac, and our guide - unfortunately I don't remember who it was! - had us close our eyes and be silent for one minute. When I opened my eyes I felt like I entered a new, amazing, world of peace and love. Hard to describe, but so powerful.

Climbing the hill at the first landing on the Antarctic peninsula and turning around and seeing the ship sitting in the bay and understanding the time and effort required just to get there. It was so alien, it felt like I was standing on the moon.

I answered NO above because, at my age, there are just too many other places to see. Chile was a completely new country to me and it was interesting to learn about the history. The Andes are awesome. Antarctic wildlife was like just a few places in the world were humans are not feared. That is so unusual and a privilege to experience.

From beginning to end the trip was fantastic. It was so educational and I learned more about the wildlife, geology and history of Antarctica than I could have imagined. All the staff and crew members were knowlegeable and helpful. The highlight had to be getting so close to the humpback whales while we were on the zodiac

We reached both Stromness, Grytviken and Elephant Island and even landed at Cape Wild. Truly in the footsteps of Shackleton. Amazing wildlife everywhere. Glaciers and icebergs on the peninsula are just majestic and something to see.
