The shapes of the icebergs - and the colors! The way the penguins porpoise in groups. The way I didn't realize for a long time that the sun hadn't set. The long walks up and around. Definitely the polar plunge. And yes, the people. How cool is it to get a bunch of adventurers on a boat together?!

Wildlife - was able to participate in anything I wanted to do, at 78, but biggest downside is that the trip was otherwise very sedentary and difficult for someone of my age group to maintain my conditioning I work hard on. On board athletic area not practicable except in sheltered anchor.

This isn't really a very sensible question, I find it impossible to choose one memorable moment. All of the wildlife on S Georgia, Albatross fledglings testing out their wings on W Falkland,landing at Wild Point on Elephant Island................I could go on and on and on.
