Waking up to the view of the icebergs after two days of seeing only water crossing the Drake Passage, the view of Antartica on top of the hills after a long hike, Penguins of different types nesting together, seeing penguins giving pebbles to their partner for their nests, the seals watching us watch them, polar plunge and lots of choices at the buffet

Impossible! You are surrounded by majestic beauty. The blue hues of the ice, rugged, snow covered mountains… whales feeding… penguins so comical on land, yet so graceful in the water. Just so magnificent.

Almost impossible to say... probably the pod of orca attacking a humpback. All the wildlife viewing was spectacular though. Camping and sleeping essentially on the snow made me feel so distant from life, but more connected than ever!

Very difficult to answer - the immensity of all that was around us every day was spectacular, the individual sightings of things like orcas and beak nosed whales, the wildlife, the blues of the ocean and the icebergs, the friendly and fun staff. It was all part of the memories.

I may never forget the initial fear, and then awe of having a humpback whale swim under my kayak! It was amazing to be so close to all the seals, whales, and penguins. I was also thrilled I got to be with my new friend and kayak-mate, Josh, as we came upon a sleeping leopard seal. This moment is what Josh had been waiting for for 15 years and why he took the trip.

I loved seeing the penguins on the highways! I loved seeing whales while in the zodiacs. I loved cruising by huge blue icebergs. I love camping, polar plunging, mountaineering....all of the activities!

This was probably a once in a lifetime experience, that would be extremely hard to beat. As such, identifying one most memorable moment, would, in my opinion would be unfair. The trip in it's entirety, was the memorable moment.

Walking into the colony of King Penguins in the Falkland Islands. Also, cruising Hercules Bay with the sun shining on the macaroni penguins.

Watching over 200 fin whales feeding with hundreds of penguins and albatrosses, just off Elephant Island. It was sunny with incredibly strong wind, and many of the blows from the fin whales turned into rainbows.
