Several come to mind - first sighting of a massive berg - size of a multi-storey car park (the visible bit) as we left South Georgia - multiple Humpback whales (15-20) surrounding our zodiac for best part of an hour - Orca pod systematically hunting and drowning a fin whale - penguins galore on S Georgia

Seeing the Antarctic Ice for the first time, the first Iceberg, the lighting contrast between the mountains of rock and the glaciers, the whales, the seals, the penguins...... Oh, and scuba diving in what I stated above, seeing it first person. Really special!

So many memorable moments, the excitement of boarding day, all the daily activities(camping, kayaking, mounteering, zodiac rides, polar plunge)  the delicious freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea, the surprise warm spiced apple drink on one of the zodiac trips, the sadness I felt when the cruise over.  Definitely the best and most memorable holiday we have ever had

Having watched Blue Planet , experiencing the wild life in real and literally smelling the animals in their habitat was great. Seeing the Glaciers and ice floats rarely shown for the beautiful sculptures that they are was my highlight, not to mention to experience the rough seas that the early adventurers took in their boats

There were so many, it’s tough to pick one. Moment of silence on top of Danco island (hearing avalanches, whales and penguins in the distance) sticks out. Close encounter with humpbacks in the zodiac. Camping overnight with the most amazing skyline.
