One of the most memorable moments of the trip was the first morning, opening the drapes and seeing the continent right there outside our window. It was breathtaking.

Standing on a ridge on the Antarctic peninsula with the sun shining down. Standing next to a penguin colony with no civilization close. The water smooth with ice floating.

Wildlife the landscape, fellow travellers were a good bunch, young and old. The ship's operator looked after us all very well. the ships crew could not do enough for anyone, and the food was excellent.
