After a rough Drake crossing, we woke up at 4 am, opened the blinds. and VOILA we were in Antarctica. Icebergs, penguins, even a whale. It was surreal.

Seeing Antarctica for the first time out our cabin window. It looked like just a piece of ice at first but then as your eyes adjusted you could see a huge mountain rising up and it was just incredible

Most memorable moment was sitting quietly on the Zodiac with our guide while watching whales surface around us. He told us not to rush, not to record everything, but to use our eyes and simply be present. That peaceful silence, the sound of the ocean, and the feeling of being so close to these gentle giants is something I will never forget. It felt like the world paused for a moment.

Barbecue and dancing on the ship in Paradise Cove. Scenery, food, camaraderie were amazing. Something I’ll never get to experience again.

We were in the South Georgia Islands on on Christmas day. It was snowing/sleeting and the swell was almost two meters. The expedition team were skilled at getting my friends and I getting into the zodiac and touring us along the shore line to see macaroni penguins, fur seals, gentoo penguins, elephant seals and Weddell seals up close and personal. It was certainly a Christmas I will never forget.

Interrupting my dinner to walk up onto the deck to discover that the cove we were to be camping in that night was lit with the most beautiful light, and the water was mirror still. I noticed while eating that the evening light was changing and I thought it might be a great time for photography. It was the absolute most breathtaking moment of my life.
