Some places were truly magical . Highlight was camping and whale watching with the zodiacs . Overdose of penguins and ice !

The trip was absolutely amazing, to the point I ran out of adjectives. It was one big WOW after another. I would definitely recommend going on an excursion boat as everyone there was a pleasure to be with don’t think there was a clinker in the bunch! Would have to say crossing the Antarctic Circle was the magical moment as were the sunsets and moon rises there.

Too many to choose just one! Spotting the pod of orcas was one of the top moments. Witnessing the “mini tsunami” caused by a calving glacier was another.

That is a hard question to answer as there were many. All of Antarctica was very special and each location was somewhat different especially with the ever changing weather. Certainly Horseshoe Bay, Protection Point (where we saw a huge iceberg collapse), Neko Harbor, and Brown Bluff (where we had a leopard seal play with the zodiac for ~30 minutes) were all highlights. We were disappointed by being chased out of South Georgia Island by a storm after only one day which was as important to visit as Antarctica. In hindsight, we may have chosen to go too late in the season.

Taking in the beauty and wonder of this remote, spectacular landscape and witnessing the wildlife who call it home. It was like being captured in a National Geographic magazine. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Kayaking in Antarctica was thrilling with flat, calm seas and icebergs so close you could touch them. seals and whales adorned our view as we paddled. the Guide from Oceanwide Zet was phenomenal and fun.
