Most scary memorable moment was going through the Drake Passage since there was a storm it was pretty rocky going through. The most exciting moment was actually stepping foot on Antarctica and being greeted by penguins.

It's hard to pick just one. The entire trip was magical. If I had to pick, I'd say it was setting foot on the actual continent and posing with Antarctica21's "7 Continents" flag. A close second would be when two pods of orcas decided to swim alongside our ship.

Being checked out by a humpback whale while in a zodiak in Antarctica. It swam around our boat for about 7 minutes, right below the surface, but did not bump us. The humpback showed us it's mouth, flippers, fin, and fluked at the end. It was absolutely magical. Everyone in our boat including our expedition member were mesmerised. Our engine was off and we were all silent and captivated throughout the experience.

I can’t answer this. I mean honestly. This trip was the trip of a lifetime and I’m already trying to find a way to get back someday. It’s life changing in some ways I already know…and some that I have yet to realize. I’m forever grateful for the experience under the safe guidance of Hannah and her incredible expedition crew. Simply the best.

Highlight was kayaking on Christmas morning in a snowstorm. Loved the blue iceburgs, 1000's of penguins, seals and whales. We loved being on an expedition ship where there was no majority of demographic...ages from 10-81, couples, singles, families....people from all different countries. I hope to return someday...maybe with my grandchildren.

Enjoyed all the excursions on the zodiac's. The landings and even the zodiac safari's through the iceburgs. Wildlife abundant. Whales, penguins, seals and birds. Weather was amazing, not cold at all with one layer under pants and shirt. Jacket they provide is great ( I would have liked Women's sizing and not Men's though). Most women are wider at the hips and these men's jackets were very tight to zipper in that area so we had to size up and then its too big everywhere else. The crew was outstanding, everyone from reception, excursion team, food service, housekeeping and all.

The only land with no country ,no human being living there, only wild life and breathtaking landscape. No pollution , and when not windy the fantastic sound of silence. But how long will it last untouched ? So it is been a privilege to be there while still pure .

Great service from Swoop. They did an excellent boat matching my interests to the right trip. Hebridean Sky is a luxury small boat. The accommodations were very comfortable, while the cabins large. Food was very good. Guides were outstanding. Cannot describe the experience of walking near a wave of 150,000 penguins, seals, and petrols. The nesting Albatross’ was a sight to see. The pace was comfortable and the time on board was relaxing, enjoyable, and very educational. The small ship of 100 people allowed quick access to the landing sites.

On Christmas Eve, the captain took the ship south into sea ice for a few hours. That was as far south as we ever went. Just when I thought I had seen Antarctica, the new scenary blew me away.
