I very much enjoyed them and always felt safe. Safety is very front of mind for Aurora Expeditions.

The Aurora Expedition team are very knowledgeable, friendly, and experts in their own fields. All lectures were fabulous.
Tell us about the Sylvia Earle
The Sylvia Earle was a lovely ship, it lived up to my expectations, the trip surpassed my expectations. The cabin was great, the food was amazing, the special nights were very memorable, meeting the Captain, his crew, all the expedition team was wonderful. I loved the Cocktail Hour! I would choose this ship again. Aurora Expeditions is an Australian company, and as an Australian I couldn't be prouder in what they have achieved and what they delivered on my trip.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Going to Antarctica is very different for a lot of people. Research it well as it will probably be your trip of a lifetime.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I knew this continent would be different, now that I have visited and experienced it, I am richer for doing so. I have a much deeper respect for all the early Antarctic explorers and previous inhabitants of base camps in Antarctica.
