The whole trip was so memorable it's hard to pick the most memorable. But seeing penguins upclose and whales was unbelievable experience. One day we were seeing about 10 whales when in our zodiac. Also would like to share what a deal it was to be included in the Photo group. Totally worth every penny. We got to go out first and stay out later, and the guides were fantastic even if just using your iphone camera!!

Seeing a penguin CITY. Tens of thousands of penguins. So much going on at the same time. It's an entire society.

So many. The landscape, the silence, the icebergs, the glaciers, being so close to so many penguins, walking on the Antarctic continent. But the final afternoon seeing so many whales from the balcony and then in a zodiac being surrounded by whales that we didn't know which way to look.

Being able to see all the wildlife up close and experience the beauty of nature as it’s supposed to be without human impact

Actually setting foot on the continent. That was at Esperanza which was an amazing place. But actually every day was better than the previous. So, in a way, impossible to pick just one.

We had a humpback whale come right up beside our zodiac where it stayed for about half an hour! It was so playful and curious, skyhopping to see what was going on and swimming around genuinely like it was playing with us. It was incredible!

The moment shortly after boarding and I found out that I had paid $10,000 more than other solo travelers choosing their own room. Apparently the ship waived the solo supplement but Swoop was not in the loop.
