Who are G Adventures?
Toronto-based G Adventures (formerly G.A.P. Aventures) was co-founded in 1991 by Bruce Poon Tip, and are now the largest small group adventure travel company in the world. They have been operating in Antarctica since 2005, successfully translating their small group ethos into the expedition cruising sphere.
G Adventures operate just one ship in Antarctica, the MS Expedition. A classic polar expedition ship, it underwent its most recent refurbishment in time for the 2025/26 season. It offers travellers a cosy polar home in traditional maritime style, while its compact size ensures that it's quick for everyone to disembark and enjoy Antarctica close at hand.
