Moments....plural. The daily zodiac excursions. Whether hiking up to the penguins or being among the humpback whales while they came up for air or just looking at the different icebergs and their colors, the Antarctic scenery and wildlife was amazing.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Keep an open mind, be prepared for bad weather but know that it could also be beautiful each day (as our trip was). If you don't like breathtaking scenery, once-in-a lifetime experiences, making new friends, learning extraordinary things about all things Antarctic and how they relate to you individually and to this world we live in, then maybe this isn't for you.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really - but it did enhance my perspective that travel is in and of itself one of life's great pleasures, that it takes all people to help this world go around, that education is power, that there are good and happy people in this world, and that we all can and need to do more to preserve our planet.
