A fantastic group of people who worked well together, transferring their enthusiasm to us passengers.

Great food, fantastic friendly service—a state of the art ship with excellent stabilisation technology.
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
We were lucky to have been able to get off at almost every planned excursion. Higher swells didn't stop the expedition team from attempting a landing.
Tell us about the wildlife
Not used to wild animals being so friendly, and the abundance was like travelling back in time.
Were Swoop right to recommend Aurora Expeditions?

The snorkelling option was well worth it and it was great being able to be one of the first groups of people to land.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
It's not as cold as you'd expect but the wind chill factor is something to take into account.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Petty politics of selfish, deeply unhappy individuals who happen to lord over us is not worth investing time in. Direct action is the only way to make changes for the better.
