I can't narrow it down to one great moment. I enjoyed the zodiac excursions. They were all unique and beautiful.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I enjoyed them, but often felt frustrated by the lack of open view. With 10 people in a boat, your vision was blocked by a wall of people. Also, I suggest the crew train under the best driver(s). There was a wide diversity of skill levels. It takes a lot more than just steering the boat. Some passengers saw so much more than others. Case in point; one driver is known to be the best. We were all heading back to the ship when he veered off in another direction. Instead of asking him on his handheld where he was going, our driver made a snide remark about him and continued back to the ship. Those that followed him got to see Emporor penguins, a rare find. We were very sad we missed it!

A wide range of abilities. Most were very good. One was outstanding. The good ones followed his lead.
Tell us about the Ultramarine
Well built. New. Well appointed. Spacious cabins. Only negative comment is the lecture room should have been built so those not in the first row could see more than the upper part of the screen. They chairs were very comfortable.
Tell us about the Heli-landings
Loved them. Would recommend to others.

Overall, it was a great experience. Oli wish I had experienced better zodiac drivers.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Follow advice on clothing. We were lucky to be there during mikd weather.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Better pre-trip communication. My husband planned our trip, and was often very frustrated by the lack of response from them. He wasted many hours trying to make our plans. He was worn out by the time we left.

Very prepared.
