* Whole Trip was a highligt. * Funfact for me: It was the ship Metallica was on for its Antarctic concert. * Landscape and Wildlife were also amazing, so the staff and the other travellers.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
It is simply amazing and far beyond expectation gotten from pictures.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
Swoop (John in particular, but all the others) were phantastic. They did everything that was possible and made things (payment e.g.) very smoth and confortable.
How likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend?

How were your experiences on the zodiac excursions and shore landings?
Was done great and quite good organized (even if the group distribution finally did not really matter). They took safety very serious. Unfortunately we could not go to Port Lockroy and Swimming in Deception Island. The conditions are harsh and unpredictable, but the mood among the ship was, that maybe they should not have given up on Lockroy so quick (they tried still 45 Minutes). I think instead of immediately going to the other place "around the corner", the passengers would haqve risked this for another 1-2 hour wait, but we are no experts - we are safe finally.
If Swoop arranged some of your travel before/after your voyage. How did we do?
Smooth logistic, also with the luggage storage afterwards. The rest I organized by myself.
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to Antarctica, and what tips would you pass on?
Ortelius is a suitable ship for "normal people"-affordable Antarctica trips. For this price there are of course limitations, but all in all it was really good. Some special friends of mine who also want to go there I can recommend this - main reason of course is the "affordability" as we speak of 2-3 times of a normal vacation cost. But the trip was totally worth it. I liked the open bridge pollicy very much - an engine room tour would have been nice, but it was said this is off limits. No complain ;-)
