Highlights include kayaking (in ANTARCTICA!), camping without a tent (in ANTARCTICA!), having a penguin staring at me for half an hour while I was just sitting up in my sleeping bag, watching 6 orcas circling a small iceberg to hunt the seals lying there, probably scared out of their minds. The captain STOPPED the boat while we watched transfixed for half an hour.
In one sentence, what did you think of Antarctica? Did it live up to your expectations?
I had really no idea how it would be. But it certainly surpassed any fantasies. And it was due to the fabulous ship, crew, staff, activities, guides, and fellow travelers.

How was the service that Swoop provided?
John was great. He found the perfect trip for me with lots of activities included. He arranged for a bunk in a 4-bed cabin, which was fun. He arranged for me to pay in installments in a complicated Argentina-USA-England triangle transaction. The list of clothing and things needed for the trip helped me plan my packing perfectly. He was enthusiastic always.

Super staff - patient, professional, nice, very experienced. We were super lucky in watching wildlife.
How would you describe {vessel.title} if talking to somebody potentially interested in going to Antarctica, and what tips would you pass on?
Beautiful, comfortable boat. I have already recommended the boat operator.
