Tell us about the wildlife
It was fantastic to feel our evolution when we got excited to be close to a Humpback to photograph it, when 100 years ago it was done to prey on them! The Penguins ? Very nice little animals!
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
All the drivers are very safe and some are smarter than others in finding animals. Most memorable cruise ? Obviously when we had a Humpack at 30 o 40 meters !
Tell us about the expedition team
All the members of the staff are knowledgeable in their subject, it was a pleasure to talk to them every time we had the opportunity, even in our spare time or in the restaurant. I would not like to be unfair to some of them with whom I haven´t had the opportunity to interact more, but according to my activities and my preferences the best moments were spent with: Juan Berenstein, the Bellezze brothers, Antoine, Rose, Edward & Joshua.
Tell us about the Hondius
The vessel is perfect for our activities, the cabin only would need space for dry wet clothes after excursions. The food and restaurant was amazing.
Something Else?
There should not be unfinished activities because being such a complicated destination, the passenger may not have another opportunity to return.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
If you have any doubts, Antarctica it´s one of the best and most fantastic destinations, and base camp is the best way to experience it.
