Buenos Aires to Antarctica

Argentina's capital city and the main hub for getting to Argentinian Patagonia. There are two airports in Buenos Aires so make sure you know which one you're flying to. There's the International Ezeiea Airport around 40 minutes from the city centre, and then the smaller domestic Jorge Newbery airport, only a 15 minute drive from the Palermo district.

If you're joining an Antarctic cruise that departs and returns to Ushuaia, you'll fly from Jorge Newbery down to Ushuaia which takes around 3 and a half hours. For more information, see Antarctic cruises that depart in Ushuaia.
