A set of four islands, located no more than 20 km from Ushuaia. They form a natural harbour offering shelter from the strong winds characteristic of the Beagle Channel. For this region the islands are popular for diving and kayaking.

The islands get their name from the local Bridges family, who helped the Argentinian government colonise the area and lived peacfully amongst the native Yaghana people in their Estancia Harberton. The islands have the biggest 'concheros' in the region, which are circular shell deposits created by the Yaghana people after eating lots of seafood.
