In 2012, I left London and moved to North Wales to study Sport Science with Adventure Sports — and I haven't looked back since. Since graduating, I've built a varied career: youth development, hospitality management, outdoor adventure instructing, and supporting Polar operations for the British Antarctic Survey. It's been a wild ride.

Based in Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), I spend my free time mountaineering, climbing, and chasing anything adventure-based. I also love exploring in my van — though I'm just as happy with a quiet night in by the fire.

I was fortunate enough to call Antarctica home for the best part of 3 years, including a full Antarctic winter. My role there was varied: cargo handling, aircraft ground support, emergency response in extreme environments, waste stream management, and staffing deep field depots.

Along the way, I picked up experiences I'll never forget — co-piloting flights to field sites, crossing snow and ice by skidoo to scout the best climbing spots, abseiling into the otherworldly depths of crevasses, and spending my downtime skiing, snowboarding, and watching wildlife move through its life cycle. And that's just scratching the surface.

When people ask me, "What's Antarctica like?", there's nothing I can say that fully captures it — you have to go there to understand. Being part of the Customer Experience Team means I get to bring a little of that to you.

Not many people can say they've lived in Antarctica. But you don't need to have been there yourself — you just need someone who has to help get you ready for the adventure. That's where I come in.
