Life before Swoop
Mount Fitz Roy, El Chalten, Argentina
Before Swoop I spent many years planning epic expeditions to the remotest corners of the world and have been lucky enough to travel on my own extended adventures to Latin America, from Mexico City to Ushuaia. Highlights included: rafting through class 4 rivers in Futaleufú, summiting Huayna Potosi mountain in Bolivia, exploring the Mars Valley by bike in the Atacama and attempting to Tango in Buenos Aires. Travel is a huge part of my life and I'm always planning the next great adventure.
Why I love travelling
Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile
I love travelling for the excitement of discovering new places. I feel most alive when I'm active, immersed in nature and exploring unique landscapes but I also love slowing down. After a long day of exploring, sipping a fantastic Argentine or Chilean wine (I'm not picky!) while overlooking snow-capped mountains and glaciers is my idea of perfection.
Day to day at Swoop
Cotopaxi National Park, Ecuador
I really enjoy planning incredible adventures to unique destinations and being able to be a part of this process gives me amazing job satisfaction. I love finding out my customers' specific interests whether it be following in the footsteps of their polar heroes, or trying to spot a particular wildlife species and then helping craft the perfect itinerary to match. Being able to send people on these life-changing experiences feels like a real privilege and really drives my passion for my role here at Swoop.
