Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Loved them, we had most of the best memorable moments on them when we got to get close to the wildlife. It was also a great way to truly be in the antarctic environment with views all around us.
Tell us about the expedition team
Truly surprised by how each member of the expedition team had an area of expertise and greatly appreciated that because of the wealth of knowledge available on board. All guides were amazing and incredibly friendly, especially loved our expedition leader Mark for his choice of the best locations and wake up calls, and René who is so passionate about Antarctica and happy to share more every single time we were in his zodiac - learnt so much just from having him as our guide!
Tell us about the Ocean Albatros
Far exceeded our expectations with how luxurious it all felt. Loved the cabin which had ample space for two and lots of storage space everywhere. Greatly appreciated the number of hooks and hanging bars in the bathroom and around the cabin - design of the room felt like it was done by someone who had been on such expeditions before! Variety of food was fantastic and we never felt like anything was repeated too much on the 10-day cruise. Some dishes were too salty for us but likely because of the different cultures and norms.
