What was your most memorable moment?
It is hard to pick just one given how incredible the trip was, but one of my favorites was sea kayaking among fur seals.

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I would recommend going earlier in the season. While we did see Humpback whales, which we learned are less prevalent earlier in the season, we were expecting more snow and more penguins. The size of the colonies was diminished since many penguins had already left to head south. Also, we experienced many days of rain, which I think is not normal, but still hampered our enjoyment. Also, we expected variable weather, but we did not anticipate not being able to disembark for a landing or Zodiac cruise due to weather. Given this, I would encourage as many days as possible in Antarctica since you may lose one or more due to weather.

Yes, we want to go back and see more.

How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
We felt pretty well prepared and excited for Antartica. The only hiccup was lack of communication on Silversea's part from when we arrived in Santiago until we boarded the ship. No one was able to give accurate information and timelines were extremely protracted resulting in lots of sitting around and waiting.
