What was your most memorable moment?
My first sight of a King Penguin which actually occurred in the Falkland Islands. Little did I know that I soon would see and photograph thousands of them on South Georgia Island.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
My most memorable zodiac cruise was Hercules Bay. I love photographing birds and animals ftom the water.

Extremely competent,csns I liked that so many were photographers like myself. Special shout out to Meggie eho was unfailingly cheerful, helpful snd knowledgeable.
Tell us about the Sea Spirit
The ship was sound and my cabin very comfortable. Greg my cabin attendant took wonderful care of me. The food was good, nice diversity but nothing particularly special. The good services crew did go to great lengths to accommodate very restricted food requirements of one of the passengers.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Make sure youbare fit and can hike up to 4 miles with camera gear, a life vest, wearing heavy boots and a parka. Take cold medication, there seems to be a virus circulating in Argentina right now. Take a few hand warmers, when it gets windy, the hands are the first to get cold.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
No. I have been to the Antarctic Peninsula before and I would say that experience was life changing for me and the main reason I wanted to go to South Georgia.

No you all did a great job.

Very.
