What was your most memorable moment?
Landing on Elephant Island + All the other SHackleton relevant landings, e.g Cave Cove, Peggotty Bluff etc. The whole of South Georgia was amazing

Great boat. Perfect. Nice cabins, spacious and well equiped, leisure areas and dining facilities. Food was generally great although vegetarian options became a little repetitive. Would definately highly recommend.

Hotel staff were exceptional . Housekeeping was great. We felt very well looked after and were made to feel special by everyone involved.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Easy to overpack - all our clothing dried really quickly in the cabins. However, take 2 pairs of waterproof over trousers - means you can leave one pair in the muck room and one pair in your room allowing you to alternate. Check out all activities / options thoroughly with the operator. Bring sea sickness medication! Bring cold and flu medication. Be very flexible in your trip itinerarty expections - things change often and rapidly. Make the most of every opportunity
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Certainly brought home the fragile state of the Antarctic region, its wildlife and whole eco-system.
