Tell us about Zodiac excursions
The zodiac excursions were really great! It's nice to be able to get closer to the wildlife (always at a safe distance), closer to sights, the landings, etc. This is what makes this expedition so unique compared to larger cruises.
Tell us about the expedition team
As I said, they were all wonderful people. - Helpful - Always ready to explain things - Interesting lectures - Always provided entertainment in the evenings (led by the driving force Peter :-) ) - Szymon always made sure to take us to interesting locations in consultation with the captain. He also made sure that we could go ashore an extra time during the afternoon on day 2 of the Drake Passage, as the crossing went more smoothly due to calmer weather. Tell us about the Ocean Victory
In my opinion, this is the ideal ship for this type of excursion. I really can't think of any negative points: - The rooms were perfect, with everything we needed - The dining rooms were beautiful and spacious, with great food and a buffet offering plenty of choice - The outdoor decks were also very nice, and the pool was even heated - Small enough that you didn't get lost - The best crew (maid, food, cook, front desk, laundry, etc.) Simply wonderful
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Plan with Albatros. The fact that you can go ashore and take zodiac cruises makes this truly unique and unforgettable. Larger cruise ships cannot bring their passengers ashore because there are too many of them on board, but Albatros can (smaller cruise ships).
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The tranquility of Antarctica, the beautiful nature, wildlife, glaciers... it was truly indescribable.

Great job. Everything was very clear, the trip was exactly as you described it, top organization.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
VERY!! but it was still difficult to form an image of it in advance because it's something that not many people visit; it's something unique.
