What was your most memorable moment?
There are so many memorable moments, but having the opportunity to kayak on this expedition gave me the most memorable of the entire trip. Being on the water, kayaking among the humpback whales feeding in front of us, behind us and to the side of us is a feeling I will never forget. The opportunity to experience the pristine environment, walking among the thousands of penguins, sneaking past sleeping seals and listening the sounds of Antarctica can not be put into words. Simply amazing, overwhelming and otherworldly are the best words I can come up with.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Loved the opportunity to experience the views from the Zodiac as well as from the land. Having zodiac excursions were fabulous especially when landings were not an option.

I can not say enough good things about each of the expedition team. The Kayaking leaders were each so different, brought different vibes and experiences to each outing, which was so fabulous.

Excellent! Beyond fabulous! I feel so lucky to have been able to be part of the kayak group!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
I would absolutely recommend a person looking at going to Antarctica be crystal clear on what it is they want to do and honest of their physical ability to do it. Do not do an expedition if not in good health.

Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
After booking and pmt, the communication was a bit confusing. More clarity, especially for those of us who are traveling a lot and may be on another trip when information is sent out, on the two login and why there is an account for Swoop and another account for Aurora. It was very confusing to me.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I was beyond excited and felt very prepared, especially after the zoom meeting about the trip.
