Tell us about the Seaventure
The small ship made it possible for us to get to know and visit with many interesting people and for us to make landings and cruise in zodiacs. We didn't make the polar plunge, but those who did were extremely enthusiastic about it. All activities were extremely well planned and organized. Staterooms were comfortable and roomy. Food was very good, and the option of a special daily meal and dining area provided variety. Wait staff was extremely attentive and friendly.
Were Swoop right to recommend Polar Latitudes?

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
We felt totally safe in the zodiac, and the assistance getting in and out was appreciated. We especially enjoyed our cruise around Charlotte Bay.
Tell us about the expedition team
The entire expedition team was experienced, helpful, and friendly. Within a few days, they knew everyone's name which was a nice, personal touch. The lectures were all good: enough information for us to feel we had learned a lot but not so scientific we felt overwhelmed.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Don't even consider taking a large cruise ship! You will miss much of what Antarctica has to offer.
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
Encourage Polar Latitudes to provide printed information of what was posted on the boards near the dining room and the various lectures for us to read later to be able to retain more of the information.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
It reinforced our concern about climate change.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
Very.
