The excursions were amazing. They did everything they could to get 5 days into 3 days so we could experience as much as possible.

Tell us about the Silver Wind
I've been on many cruises and while there were some great feature on the Silver Wind. The room was smaller than expected for 3 people. We saw our butler twice which in talking to other they saw him many times.
Something Else?
I didn't like the way they addressed us in communications on the ship. It was Robert Johnson and Family. While I'm his sister it was disrespectful to not address me personally since I paid my own way and should have been acknowledge as such. I will say that any communication that came from Swoop what more respectful...since I was the one that did most of the planning and communicating.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Purchase insole for the boots. I'm not sure why we didn't know we would be given the jacket, pants and back pack prior to arrival, was it supposed to be surprise. It made for very difficult packing when going home.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Seeing the untouched beauty was so inspiring. The tranquility was incredible to just sit and enjoy.
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I feel overall I was prepared it not overly prepared.
