Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Team made every effort to ensure all who wanted to kayak were able to go.
Tell us about the expedition team
Focused on safety. A few were very outgoing and knowledgeable. A few seemed less enthusiastic.
Tell us about the Ocean Albatros
Crew was remarkable. Very friendly. Food was very good but how about less focus every meal on Chinese or Indian food.
Something Else?
Wifi access was never communicated and one would think when you turn off wifi the data stops. Nope. A lot of us burned through the 500mg the first night. Get a better system and explain more thoroughly how to access and log off.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Enjoy the moment. Stay awake as much as possible. You can sleep on the Drake.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Not really. My second trip after 24 years to Antarctica and saw how Ushuaia has grown.
