What was your most memorable moment?
Camping in Antarctica and the silence that came from being off the ship. Early in the morning, we had whales visit to feed, and the sounds of the animals were incredible. I'll never forget that experience.

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
I loved the Zodiac excursion. The most memorable one was the first excursion once we got to Antarctica. That first time on the water was undefeated. I felt extremely safe at all times and the crew were so informative and kind!

Wow, I do not have enough good things to say about the expedition team. They were incredible.

One of the most memorable parts of my trip. There's nothing quite like it.
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Plan early and pack light! I overestimated how many sweaters and pants I'd need for the trip. Focus more on layers and natural fibers.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
My experience has completely changed how I think of our world and our impact on it. Its made me a fierce advocate for protecting Antarctica.

No, everything Swoop recommended was well done.
