What was your most memorable moment?
I have many memorable moments, too many to list here, but if I had to name a few (mot in order of priority) they would be: walking among various species of penguins and seals, standing with a 500,000 penguin colony, experiencing the incredible, breathtaking expanse of Antarctica, unexpectedly following a pod of Orca whales, crossing the Antarctic circle, walking in 50 mule winds in the Falklands and appreciating its ruggedness.
Which of the following best describes your adventure?
Life changing
On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely is it that you would recommend Swoop to a friend or colleague?

Were Swoop right to recommend National Geographic - Lindblad Expeditions?
Yes
Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Totally enjoyed, felt safe, etc; all memorable
Tell us about the expedition team
First rate expedition team, all friendly, helpful; many great lectures; some by photographer Ken Garrett, some by Mensun Bound, one by Enda O'C_____, one on whales, one on oceans (and the Antarctic oceans particularly), one on krill, a few on penguins and seals. Our leader Russ was beyond fantastic - he had great energy and never stopped pushing for us to have the best experiences possible, with a lot of zodiac and landing activity. We all met on the bridge at 6:30am when we crossed the Antarctic CIrcle. He reversed our itinerary from the first day b/c he thought the weather wld be netter, and he was right!!
Tell us about the National Geographic Endurance
Far exceeded my expectations, ship able to go places other ships cannot, cabin amazing, first rate food, wld choose again in a heartbeat
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
From what I understand, ut is best to go earlier in the season, when changing from winter to spring - more pristine, and it was! Also, already the elephant seals were fighting for mating territory, I understand later so many seals it is a problem to land. And way less penguin poop. And we saw humpback and orca whales b/c you never know...
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes, becoming more involved in getting youth involved in marine biology and saving our oceans/our planet
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
None I can think of
