What was your most memorable moment?
There were so many! Seeing the outline of the peninsula for the first through the fog. Going out in the zodiac and feeling true cold! And of course, meeting so many of my penguins 🐧 friends! I couldn’t take enough pictures and videos of them! Even the couple days of rough seas couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm Thank you for making this amazing trip possible 🥰

Enjoyed zodiac cruises immensely! Always felt safe and each zodiac pilot was very knowledgeable about where we were and what we were seeing.

Omg! They were the best! I wish I had all of their names. Spoke to many after their interesting lectures, trainings and briefings
Tell us about the Roald Amundsen
Love, Love, loved it! I enjoyed the fact it was causal, even to the point where some guests were in shorts and flip-flops! The crew, from the captain all the way up/down to servers, my cabin steward Raymundo (took great care of me as a came down with a cold two days in) The food was very good, so many interesting things to fill the days and just watching the white continent pass by from the explorers linge on deck 10!

I have already told several people how exceptional SWOOP was! I plan on contacting you again to plan a trip to Svalbard!
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
My iPhone took great pictures. Unless you’re a real photography person, I wouldn’t bother with another camera. Take comfy casual clothes for onship time. Have fun and be curious!
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Just knowing there’s so much more out there to visit and experience!
Do you have any recommendations for Swoop, or feedback about the team?
The only trouble I had was finding lectures to rewatch. Not all were available Also, suggestion…..video lectures and either provide with memory album, or even sell them on board and make available thru HX website. I would have bought one of these and so would have a couple of on board friends I made
How prepared and excited for Antarctica did you feel?
I thought extremely! But the reality of Antarctica just overwhelmed!
